Walter Connors’ Sluggara Farm is synonymous with producing top class National Hunt prospects.

The Cappoquin based consignor is best known for his association with Grade 1 winning horses such as Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Don Cossack and Champion Hurdle winner Espoir d’Allen.

In recent years Sluggara Farm have headlined the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale, as the leading consignor by top price and average price. The Sluggara Farm draft in 2024 included a sibling to Grade 1 winners Brighterdaysahead, Mighty Potter and Caldwell Potter and the son of Doctor Dino named Ravendark was purchased for €350,000.
