A Leading Source of Two-Year-Old Winners

The September Yearling Sale has experienced continuous growth year on year, and is now firmly established as one of Europe’s leading yearling sales. Graduates of the sale include Group 3 Priory Belle Stakes winner A Lilac Rolla, Group 3 Jannah Rose Stakes winner Sea The Boss and Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet runner up American Sonja. Other graduates to strike at stakes level in 2024 included Group 3 Fred Darling Stakes winner Folgaria, Listed Platinum Stakes winner Super Sox, and Group 2 Prix du Gros-Chene winner Ponntos.

The sale produced 167 two-year-old winners across several countries in 2024, including Ireland, the UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Denmark and Spain. Graduates from the 2023 yearling sale include the Group 2 Gimcrack Stakes winner Cool Hoof Luke, and Group 3 Prestige Stakes winner Anshoda.

All yearlings sold in 2024 are now eligible for the €250,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes held at the 2025 Irish Champions Festival.

The vendor of the winning horse in the €250,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes will receive an Overlander R240 horsebox for one year.
