Tattersalls Ireland September Sale has third European Classic Winner in 2016 with German 1,000 Guineas Heroine Hawksmoor

Hawksmoor winner of the German 1,000 Guineas yesterday was sold by Ridge Manor Stud for €80,000 at the 2014 Sale and was like Galileo Gold, also purchased by Amanda Skiffington.  Hawksmoor is the third European classic winner this year from the 2014 September Yearling Sale following on from 2,000 Guineas winner Galileo Gold and Italian 1,000 Guineas winner Condelice.

In addition to the three European Classic winners in 2016 sold by Tattersalls Ireland, two year olds have been excelling on the track with more two-year-old winners from last year’s Sale than any other European Sale up to 20 May 2016.

Inspections for Europe’s most progressive Yearling Sale are nearly concluded with applications at an all-time high for what promises to be a strong renewal again in 2016.
