Tattersalls Ireland graduates lead the way at the Cheltenham Festival with seven winners
Tattersalls Ireland graduates secured an impressive seven Cheltenham Festival wins over the four days. The Derby Sale proved it is consistently the best and produced more Championship race winners at this year's Cheltenham Festival than any other Store sale.
The headline act was HONEYSUCKLE, the queen of Cheltenham. Declaring herself as one of the greatest jumps horses of the modern era and maintaining her flawless record of 16 out of 16. The Derby Sale graduate wrote herself into the record books when becoming the first mare to win the Grade 1 Champion Hurdle for the second consecutive year.
ENERGUMEME proved himself the top-class chaser he was believed to be when winning the Grade 1 Queen Mother Champion Chase.
