TATTERSALLS IRELAND GRADUATES COMPLETE GRADE 2 DOUBLE AT ASCOT

CAPTAIN CHRIS caused an upset when beating the 2012 Champion Chase winner  Finian’s Rainbow to land the Grade 2 Amlin 1965 Chase ahead of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduate For Non Stop.

CAPTAIN CHRIS was sold at the 2004 November National Hunt Sale by Scart Stud for €66,000 to LG Walker before returning to the 2007 Derby Sale by Ballincurrig House Stud, selling to Aiden Murphy for €250,000.

OSCAR WHISKY completed the second leg of the Grade 2 double when crossing the line in front of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduate RAYA STAR to win the Grade 2 Ascot Hurdle.

OSCAR WHISKY was sold at the 2006 November National Hunt Sale by Grange Hill Stud for €36,000 to Oak Tree Farm.
