TATTERSALLS IRELAND GRADUATE FAUGHEEN “THE MACHINE” PROVES UNBEATABLE

FAUGHEEN was sold as a foal at the 2008 November National Hunt Sale by Coolnahay Stud on behalf of his breeder Dr John Waldron to Peter Quinlan.

More success followed for Tattersalls Ireland when Derby Sale graduate, THE DRUIDS NEPHEW decisively surged up the famous Cheltenham hill to land the Grade 3 Ultima Business Solutions Handicap Chase.

The impressive victory has seen THE DRUIDS NEPHEW develop into a leading contender for the Grand National at Aintree next month.

THE DRUIDS NEPHEW was sold at the 2010 Derby Sale by The Chestnut Stud for €20,000 to Maeve Furlong.  

IRISH CAVALIER made it win number three for Tattersalls Ireland by landing the Listed Chaps Restaurant Barbados Novices’ Handicap Chase.

The six-year-old, who was recently place over similar distance, trip and course, relished conditions and ran past the post, two and a half lengths in front.  

IRISH CAVALIER, a graduate of the November National Hunt Sale was sold in 2009 by Greenville House Stud for €6,000 to Larch Hill Farm.
