SUCCESS IN GRADE 2 FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND

BRIGHT NEW DAWN, a graduate of the August National Hunt Sale, got the better of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduate Mala Beach to win the Grade 2 Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle at Thurles for owners Gigginstown House Stud, trainer Dessie Hughes and jockey Davy Russell.

BRIGHT NEW DAWN was sold at the 2010 August National Hunt Sale by Ardrums House Stud for €110,000 to Margaret O’Toole. Prior to this, the son of Presenting was sold as a foal at the 2007 November National Hunt Sale by Coolnastud for €50,000 to GM Bloodstock.
