Stakes Success for September Yearling Sale Graduates

Folgaria, a graduate of the September Yearling Sale, continued her unbeaten record with an impressive performance in the Group 3 Dubai Duty Free Stakes at Newbury for trainer Marco Botti. Marking her debut victory on UK soil, the three-year-old daughter of Due Diligence had already demonstrated a high level of ability with wins in the Group 2 Premio Dormello and Group 3 Premio Primi Passi in Italy for Marco’s brother, trainer Stefano Botti. The trainer mentioned that the likely plan for Folgaria is the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches in early May. 

Folgaria was sold at the 2022 September Yearling Sale by The Castlebridge Consignment to Stefano Botti for €10,000. 

In another display of September Yearling Sale graduate success, Ponntos clinched victory in Milan over the weekend. The Miroslav Nieslanik trained six-year-old secured his third stakes win in the Listed Premio Certosa. Ponntos was purchased by Adam Wyrzyk from Brendan Murphy.
