September Yearling Sale Graduates Are Flying High

There was further stakes success for a Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale graduate with Divina Grace winning at Newmarket on Saturday.

The four-year-old filly landed the Listed Chalice Stakes for the Top Hat And Tails syndicate, trainer Rae Guest and jockey Billy Loughnane. It was a fifth career win for the Golden Horn sired filly, who is proving herself to be a progressive sort and produced a career best effort to run out a one-and-a-quarter length winner.

Divina Grace was purchased by Rae Guest at the 2022 September Yearling Sale from Clare Manning’s Boherguy Stud for £22,000, and her weekend victory took her prize money earnings in excess of £100,000.

The Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale continues to maintain it’s position as the leading source of two-year-old winners from the yearling sales across Europe. The Patrick Owens-trained Leonardo Dax was the 60th two-year-old winner from the 2023 September Yearling Sale this year.

Recent Leopardstown maiden winner Latin Fever, the Group 2 Futurity Stakes entrant Green Triangle and Richard Fahey’s Urban Sky are juveniles that look to have big futures based on their early racecourse performances.

The catalogue is online now at www.tattersalls.ie and will be available from Tattersalls Ireland and Tattersalls Ireland representatives from this Thursday.

The select sale will take place on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 September where 555 yearlings have been catalogued, while Part II takes place on Thursday 26 September.
