The high quality seen at this Summer’s record-breaking Derby Sale continues and Milan, the leading sire at the June Sale and also at the 2014 August Sale, has 24 lots listed, headed by Lot 122. He is a gelding who boasts Gold Cup connections – his dam Full Of Elegance, by Cadoudal, is a half-sister to the dam of Gold Cup winner Long Run, also by Cadoudal. It is a family full of black-type and includes the French Grade 2 hurdle winner and Grade 1-placed Full Of Ambition, Dr P.J. Moriarty (G1) winner J’Y Vole and Grade 3 winner Liberthine.
From Orkneys Cottage Farm is a Milan bay gelding (Lot 179), a half-brother to the Bob Back pair of brothers Roberto Goldback, a Grade 2 winner over hurdles and Grade 1-placed over fences in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown, and Carloswayback, who was placed in the Flying Bolt Novice Chase (G2). Under the second dam is the talented runner Sound Man.
Lot 505, a bay Milan filly from Greyrobin Farm, is a half-sister to the three-time Grade 1 chasing winner Follow The Plan, while Lot 405, is an April-born filly from Ballyhampshire Stud. She is a half-sister to Tavern Times, a Grade 3 hurdle winner.
Regular top five NH sire Oscar also has 24 lots listed, including a Coolamurray Stud-offered gelding out of a half-sister to the wonderful racehorse Moscow Flyer (Lot 184), the winner of 26 races, 13 at Grade 1 level including twice successful in the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
Leading consignor Peter Nolan Bloodstock offers a bay Oscar filly (Lot 151),who is a half-sister to the dual Grade 1 runner-up Saludos.

Lot 177 is a Flemensfirth gelding from Clifton Farm and a half-brother to the Kayf Tara Grade 3-winning pair of Alfie Sherrin and Hawkes Point, while Lot 735 is a Flemensfirth gelding out of Shannon Supreme, a Supreme Leader half-sister to Shannon Spray, the dam of Eirespray and Shannon Gale. Consignor Lakefield Farm, who enjoyed such a brilliant Derby Sale selling the top lot by Robin Des Champs for €320,000, has just one catalogued butLot 209 is not lacking in NH quality. The gelding by Presenting is an own-brother to the Grand National (G3) winner Ballabriggs and black-type performer Letterman. Under the second dam is the ten-time winner, four-time Grade 1 hero Hi Cloy.
