PROVEN & POTENTIAL NATIONAL HUNT HORSES ON OFFER AT AUGUST NATIONAL HUNT SALE HORSES IN TRAINING SECTION
To date, twenty HIT lots are catalogued including a number of flat, bumper, hurdle and point to point winners. Some of the lots that stand out in the HIT section include; Syddan Rose (Lot 17), a five-year-old Point to Point winner on her only start, Bigbadjohn (Lot 23), a gelding by Vinnie Roe, placed on his only outing in a five-year-old Geldings Maiden at Ballybunion, Beat The Index (Lot 25) a half brother to Muirhead, beaten only a neck on his two most recent point to point starts, Triumph Davis (Lot 30) a daughter of Flemensfirth and winner of a Bumper at Limerick, Dubh Eile (Lot 31) a recent Bumper winner with solid placed form, Sophie’s World (Lot 32) a winner on the flat and schooled over hurdles, she is a half sister to Scottish Champion Hurdle winner Noble Alan, Polished Rock (Lot 33), a son of Rock of Gibraltar and a dual flat winner over 1m2f who also added a victory over hurdles to his record at Gowran Park, Subby’s Daughter (Lot 34) a daughter of Mountain High, who on the evidence of her point to point win at Necarne looks certain track material.

This year’s sale has been extended to three days; Tuesday 12th August to Thursday 14th August. Vetting for the August Sale will replicate the Derby Sale model and those horses sold with a Veterinary Certificate will be pre-sale vetted by the Tattersalls Ireland veterinary panel on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th August. As ever, the traditional August National Hunt Sale continues to offer a selection of two, three and four-year-old National Hunt Horses. The sale continues to be a source of top track performers with leading examples coming from MORNING ASSEMBLY (pictured), REAL STEEL, BRIGHT NEW DAWN and BOG WARRIOR.
