Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy Won By September Yearling Sale Graduate WICK POWELL

The David Barron trained WICK POWELL made all to win the Listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar on Saturday and claim a lucrative pot of £99,242.50. Owned by Miss NJ Barron, the son of Sakhee’s Secret was bought at the 2015 September Yearling Sale by Harrowgate Bloodstock for €32,000 and has now accumulated £150,583 in career earnings to date.

Consigned by Ballinvana House Stud, WICK POWELL is the first foal out of the dam London Welsh, a sister to the Champion two-year-old filly in Italy Croeso Cariad and related to Kayf Tara and Opera House.
