INSPECTIONS UNDERWAY FOR THE MARKET LEADING DERBY SALE

Managing Director, Roger Casey said: “Last year’s sale was hugely successful with a condensed catalogue producing the highest turnover witnessed since 2007 and the Horses in Training Section which was also extremely well received, producing an average of €70,285. The two day Derby Sale starts a day earlier on Wednesday the 25th June to allow overseas purchasers return early on Friday morning. Applications are currently being accepted and the bloodstock team are already out inspecting horses for this year’s sale. Last year’s graduates of the Derby and August Sale will no doubt feature strongly over the coming year and the €100,000 Tattersalls Ireland Sales Bumper will feature some of these on Easter Sunday at Fairyhouse racecourse”.
