GRAND NATIONAL GLORY FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND

AURORAS ENCORE was sold at the 2003 September Yearling Sale by his breeders, Mountarmstrong Stud for €7,000 to Frank Barry.

Tattersalls Ireland’s flagship national hunt sale, the Derby Sale provided even further Aintree Festival success with the final race on the card, the Grade 2 Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race going to 2011 graduate KILLYGLASS. The corresponding race in 2012 was won by this years’ Grade 1 Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle hero and fellow Derby Sale graduate, THE NEW ONE.

Trained by Emma Lavelle for TDJ Syder and N Mustoe, KILLYGLASS was sold at the 2011 Derby Sale by Ms. Ann O’Neill for €12,000 to Stuart Crawford.
