GRADE 2 TREBLE FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND GRADUATES AT NAVAN

DUNGUIB, a previous winner of the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham today returned to the winners’ enclosure with an impressive six length victory in the Grade 2 Boyne Hurdle.

The son of Presenting, who is trained by Philip Fenton, was sold as a foal at the 2003 November National Hunt Sale by Ballyduane Stud for €13,000.

BRIGHT NEW DAWN claimed his first graded success over fences when winning the Grade 2 Flying Bolt Novice Chase under Bryan Cooper for Dessie Hughes and Gigginstown House Stud.

BRIGHT NEW DAWN was sold as a foal at the 2007 November National Hunt Sale by Coolnastud for €50,000 to GM Bloodstock. The son of Presenting was returned as a three year old to the 2010 August National Hunt Sale where he fetched €110,000 when Ardrums House Stud sold him to Margaret O’Toole.

The final Grade 2 on the card, the Ten Up Novice Chase was won by Derby Sale graduate FOXROCK. Trained by Ted Walsh for owner Barry Connell, the son of Flemensfirth was following up on his recent success in the Grade 2 Woodlands Park 100 Club Novice Chase.

FOXROCK was sold as a three year old at the 2011 Derby Sale by Morning Star Stud for €15,000 to Meadowview Stables.
