GRADE 2 DOUBLE AT FAIRYHOUSE FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND

 ABBYSSIAL declared himself a Triumph Hurdle contender at the approaching Cheltenham Festival when impressively winning the Grade 2 Juvenile Hurdle under a tactical ride from Paul Townend.

ABBYSSIAL, trained by Willie Mullins for Mrs Violet O’Leary was sold as a foal at the 2010 November NH Sale by Springfield House Stud for €21,000 to Agence FIPS.

Following up on his victory of the Thyestes Chase in January, ON HIS OWN continued his winning form when landing the Grade 2 Bobbyjo Chase under Ruby Walsh for owners Graham and Andrea Wylie and Willie Mullins.

ON HIS OWN (pictured), a son of Presenting was sold at the 2005 November NH Sale by Ballincurrig House Stud for €38,000 to Kevin O’Brien.
