GRADE 1 WORLD HURDLE WINNER FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND

Final with FINGAL BAY claiming victory in the highly contested renewal. FINGAL BAY, owned by Mrs RJ Skan, trained by Philip Hobbs and partnered by Richard Johnson won the race by a nose ahead of fellow Tattersalls Ireland graduate Southfield Theatre.

FINGAL BAY was sold at the 2008 November NH Sale by Ashwood Stud for €16,000 to Richard Rohan.

The David Pipe trained Ballynagour was the worthy winner of the Grade 3 Byrne Group Plate on the penultimate day of the Cheltenham Festival. Owned by Allan Stennet, the son of Shantou stormed home eight lengths clear ahead of his opposition to claim the victory.

Ballynagour was sold at the 2006 November NH Sale by Loughview Stud for €17,000 to John Sheehan.
