ENCOURAGING LEVEL OF ACTIVITY THROUGH TATTERSALLS IRELAND BIDPOINT
Tattersalls Ireland Managing Director Roger Casey said:
“It was always going to be interesting to see how this concept was received by the industry. We were most encouraged by the fact that we had bids at all levels showing that there is a demand for this new way of trading for horses.
“Obviously owing to the confidential nature of the entire process we are not in a position to publish any results but having phoned many vendors with bids there was a very positive response from them and we are all looking forward to week two.
“Bidders were delighted with the choice available as BIDPOINT offered 6 winners and 28 placed horses this weekend ranging from four-year-old horses to twelve-year-old schoolmasters.”
The support continues this weekend with 148 entries ticked for BIDPOINT and Bidding closes next Tuesday at 2pm.
