CHAMPION NOVICE CHASE VICTORY FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND

MOUNT BENBULBEN was sold as a foal at the 2005 November National Hunt Sale by Rathnally Stud Farm for €15,500 to Neilstown Stud who returned him to the 2006 November National Hunt Sale as a yearling, selling him to Gerry Calahan for €30,000.

The opening race of the festival, the Kildare Hunt Club Fr Sean Breen Memorial Chase was won by ZEST FOR LIFE for owner Robert Miller-Bakewell, trainer Enda Bolger and jockey Tim Donworth.

ZEST FOR LIFE was sold at the 2007 August National Hunt Sale by Leney Stud for €22,000 to his trainer, Enda Bolger.

MOYLE PARK lived up to expectations when winning the Landrover Bumper for Mrs Susannah Ricci and father and son partnership, Willie and Patrick Mullins.

MOYLE PARK was sold at the 2008 November National Hunt Sale by Kevin A Geraghty and James O’Rourke for €25,000 to Kennycourt Stud.
