Catalogue Now Online: September Yearling Sale
The 2023 catalogue for the September Yearling Sale is now available to view online. The select sale will take place on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 September featuring 506 yearlings with Part II taking place on Thursday 21 September featuring 256 yearlings.
The September Yearling Sale holds the title of Europe's Leading Yearling Sale for two-year-old winners in 2023 after a mighty start to the season from last year's graduates. The sale has produced 53 individual two-year-old winners to date throughout Ireland, UK, France, Italy and Hungary as well Group 3 and Listed success at home and abroad. Stefano Botti celebrated Group 3 success with his €10,000 purchase FOLGARIA who remains unbeaten after winning the Group 3 Premio Primi Passi and both of her Listed starts. MYCONIAN, MAN WITH THE PLAN and TIGER BELLE are other winning two-year-olds who have scored Listed success, all purchased for €27,000 or less. Other notable Group and Listed winning graduates include RHEA MOON, HOLGUIN, SIR BUSKER, AMERICAN SONJA and RAJINSKY.

All yearlings catalogued will be candidates for the €250,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales Stakes which takes place at The Curragh at the Irish Champions Festival 2024. As well as the big pot for purchasers, the vendor of the winning horse will also drive away in an Overlander R240 2-stall horsebox. Over 85% of the yearlings catalogued are IRE qualified and eligible to win a sales voucher of €10,000 per qualifying race in Ireland and Britain.
