At the conclusion of the 2010 November National Hunt Sale on Friday afternoon, Managing Director George Mernagh said:
We are conscious of the select and unforgiving nature of the market this week with the clearance rate falling on last year and it was evident that certain stock does not fit the exacting requirements of the market. We have had an outstanding year with our graduates on the racetrack with no less than 11 winners at the Cheltenham Festival and the demand for quality at all our Sales has surpassed our most optimistic expectations. With the numbers of horses contracting further one can assume increased demand for National Hunt Stock. With solid gains made at all our sales this year we have reason to look forward to the 2011 Season with a certain degree of optimism". The Breeders Flat Sale concludes the Sales Season at Tattersalls Ireland this coming Sunday the 14th November.
