ARRAY OF HORSES ON OFFER THROUGH TATTERSALLS IRELAND BIDPOINT
You can now search for any type of horse. There are three options to search - age, sex and type. The latter allows you to search for a maiden, open horse, winners horse or even a maiden with placed form. This new feature arises from the feedback of bidders so far and should assist the process of finding exactly what you are looking for each week.
Bidding through the Tattersalls Ireland bidding platform closes at 2pm tomorrow, Tuesday 7th April and offers a variety of horses including Maidens, Mares and consistent open performers.
The process is simple:
1. Find the horse you like on the Tattersalls Ireland or p2p.ie websites
2. Hover over the BIDPOINT logo and click the link to “place a bid on this horse”.
3. Fill out the form and place a bid that you feel will buy the horse.
4. Your bid will be anonymous unless accepted.
5. Bidding closes at 2pm on Tuesday.
6. If successful and your bid was accepted you will be contacted and asked if you want to vet the horse with a vet of your choice.
7. If unsuccessful you will be advised via text and email that your bid was not accepted.
CASTLETOWN GEOGHEGAN
Mares Maiden
Jumpandtravel has been thoroughly consistent throughout the season and this winner was due reward for here. Shanes Star returned to form here and looks a sure winner in waiting now.
Winners
Mattara was third here only beaten six lengths and this was his first run of the spring season. With his best form all being on good ground he should now be ready to go close next time.
6YO Geldings
Carlingford Prince was in contention on his debut when falling at the last and finished second here to a very exciting debutante so looks set to win his maiden very soon following two top efforts from as many runs.
QUAKERSTOWN
Mares Maiden
My Lady West was second here and is showing very encouraging signs of improvement so could have more to come.
Winners
Cnoc Na Gcon has been very competitive at this level and another second here proves he is a consistent sort as he has been running well behind Battle Of Shiloh, Gullivar and Glenwood For Ever recently.
6YO Geldings
Hinxworth ran very well when a close second at Lisronagh last time when beaten only half a length but clearly progressed from that experience to win impressively by fifteen lengths here.
TEMPLEMORE
5YO Geldings Maiden
Sycamore Boy stayed on very strongly to the line on his debut here and met a very impressive winner. This is a very exciting prospect that will be very short odds to win next time and progress to better things.
Mares Maiden
Criochan Gold had been second at Lisronagh in November and stepped up to win here. She is a thoroughly game filly who powered up the climb to the line.Bombay Bella showed good improvement in being placed here and can step up to better things next time.
Ladies Open
Ross Na Righ won last week and the veteran made all here in a very fast time before only getting understandably tired going to the last. The winner has now won ten point to points so this is still a notable effort by this consistent schoolmaster.
CURRAGHMORE
Winner Of One
First Crusader won a maiden at Kilfeacle and has been beaten less than ten lengths on all three runs at winner’s level so is a consistent sort taking his racing well and still only five.
Mares Maiden
Dawns Bach was a close third here and looks a good bet to open her account next time on this evidence. She was in contention before being hampered and falling on her Lisronagh points debut.
6YO Maiden
Davies Delight was a close second here and has been second before so is coming back to his best while Run For Ger posted a career best and is on the upgrade.
6YO Maiden
Nashville Tommy has shown improvement with every outing and duly stepped up to win here. His progression will surely continue. Dalus King and St Killenagh produced their best efforts to date and are improving also.
