1-2 IN PUNCHESTOWN GOLD CUP FOR TATTERSALLS IRELAND

BOSTON BOB was sold by his breeders Burgage Stud for €20,000 at the 2005 November National Hunt Sale to Killadoon Stud. 

Tattersalls Ireland graduates enjoyed futher success on day two of the Punchestown Festival with ORPHEUS VALLEY winning the Guinness Handicap Chase for trainer Tom Gibney, the No Horse Box Syndicate and jockey Adrian Heskin.

ORPHEYS VALLEY was sold at the 2004 February National Hunt Sale by Fred Mackey for €10,000. The son of Beneficial was also sold at the 2006 November National Hunt Sale by Garrett Kelly for €23,000 to Noel Meade.

Travelling over from Great Britain proved fruitful for young trainer Harry Fry when his Bumper charge FLETCHERS FLYER claimed poll position in the final race on the card for owners Masterson Holdings and jockey Derek O’Connor.

FLETCHERS FLYER was sold at the 2011 Derby Sale by The Glebe House Stud for €40,000 to Fergal O’Brien.
