Lucrative Group 1 Hong Kong Cup goes to September Yearling Sale graduate Time Warp

Tattersalls Ireland September Yearling Sale graduate Time Warp made every yard of the running to win the Group 1 Longines Hong Kong Cup at Sha Tin. The son of Lanwades Stud resident Archipenko, formerly trained in Great Britain by Sir Mark Prescott, had displayed a recent good run of form coming into the race and a well-judged ride by Zac Purton for trainer AS Cruz and owner Martin Siu Kim Sun secured the lucrative first prize of over €1.5million.

Time Warp, a graduate of Europe’s most progressive yearling sale, the September Yearling Sale was sold to agent Jeremy Brummitt at the 2014 sale for €37,000 by Staffordstown.
