Derby Sale graduate OUTLANDER shines in Grade 1 JNWine.com Champion Chase

Derby Sale graduate OUTLANDER never missed a beat when producing the winning performance to land the Grade 1 JNWine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal on Saturday. Gordon Elliott’s son of Stowaway, who’s previous victory came in the Grade 1 Lexus Chase, looked rejuvenated as he rallied to win the first Irish Grade 1 on offer this season. 

OUTLANDER, now with three Grade 1 wins to his name and over €350,000 in prize-money for owners Gigginstown House Stud, was sold by his breeder Ronnie O’Neill’s Whytemount Stud at the 2011 Derby Sale for €78,000 to Philip Fenton.
