Tattersalls Ireland graduates on-form as the National Hunt Season gets underway

With the 2018/19 National Hunt season really getting into its stride, Tattersalls Ireland graduates started the season off well with stakes wins in England, Ireland and France. 

Derby and November NH Sale graduate SECRET INVESTOR completed a hat-trick of wins and the biggest in his career to date when winning the Grade 2 Persian War Novices' Hurdle at Chepstow for trainer Paul Nicholls and owner Hills of Ledbury. The Kayf Tara six-year-old was sold at the 2015 Derby Sale by Lakefield Farm for €38,000 to Monbeg Stables. Prior to this, he was sold as a foal at the November NH Sale by Mill House to P Hanney for €12,000. 
 
At Limerick, ROBIN DE CARLOW (below, left) franked her form by winning the Listed Irish EBF Mares Hurdle for trainer Willie Mullins and owners Supreme Horse Racing and Brett T Graham. The Robin des Champs filly, now a winner of three races from only four runs, is twice a graduate of Tattersalls Ireland; at the 2016 Derby Sale she was sold by Walshtown Stables to Harold Kirk & Willie Mullins for €40,000 and as a foal at the 2013 November NH Sale when selling to Walshtown Stables by Mill House Stud for €16,000. 

At Auteuil, November NH Sale graduate GALOP MARIN was following up on his Grade 3 win in September by winning the Grade 3 Prix Carmarthen for trainer D Bressou and owner Mme Patrick Papot. By Black Sam Bellamy, GALOP MARIN was sold at the 2013 November NH Sale by Crossogue Stud to Agencie FIPS for €13,000.
