Grade 1 success on Day 1 of the Punchestown Festival for Tattersalls Ireland

Seven high-class Novice Hurdlers went to post for the Grade 1 Champion Novice Hurdle on the opening day of the Punchestown Festival and it was the Willie Mullins trained CILAOS EMERY that landed the spoils ahead of some well fancied favourites. 364 days previous, the son of Boardsmill Stud resident Califet made his winning Bumper debut at the Festival.
